Granting a tool access to your ad accounts is a real decision. Here is exactly what Ripple has been approved for, what it has not, and where in your own Facebook and Google settings you can see and revoke it.
Watching. Not touching.Meta
App Review approved for four permissions.
ads_managementChange campaign, ad-set and ad settings you authorise — the only way a write reaches Meta.
ads_readRead campaign structure, budgets, spend and results.
business_managementList the ad accounts and Pages your Business Manager can grant.
pages_read_engagementRead the Page an ad runs from, so a campaign can name it.
What App Review means
Every app that asks for Marketing API permissions is reviewed by Meta's team: a legitimate purpose for each permission, a recorded demo of the flow, a privacy policy and a data-deletion path. Approval is per permission and is re-justified in an annual Data Access Renewal.
What Ripple is not
Ripple is not a Meta Business Partner. That programme's badged tier is earned on Marketing API spend thresholds; its member tier is an application Ripple has not yet made. App Review approval is a different thing, and it is the one that governs what an app may do with your account.
A verified app, with one review still open.
OAuth branding
Google has verified the Ripple Ads app identity. The consent screen shows the Ripple Ads name and logo and links this site's privacy policy.
Google Ads scope review
Google's data-access review of the adwords scope was re-submitted on 2026-09-14 and is in progress. Until it completes, the consent screen may show Google's “unverified app” interstitial for that scope. This card changes the day it lands.
API access level
Ripple's Google Ads developer token is at Explorer access: production accounts are reachable with a daily operations budget shared across customers. Basic access has been applied for. Assistant reads answer from Ripple's synced copy, so they never spend that budget; only syncs and writes do.
Verify it yourself
Your own settings are the source of truth.
Both platforms show every app connected to your account, what it may do, and a revoke button. Revoking there stops Ripple immediately; nothing on our side can keep a revoked token working.
- Open Settings → Business Integrations.
- Find Ripple Ads in the active list.
- Open it to see the permissions granted and the ad accounts shared. Remove it to revoke.
- Open Google Account → Third-party apps & services.
- Find Ripple Ads.
- See the access granted (Google Ads) and remove it to revoke.
Inside Ripple: Dashboard → Connections disconnects a platform and pauses every managed campaign first; Dashboard → Connect revokes an MCP token; the data deletion page explains how to erase the workspace.
